Connect your brokerage accounts to uncover concentrated exposure, review management checkpoints and risk alerts, and see how your strategies have performed.
A portfolio can hold many tickers and still lean heavily in one direction. Trace the exposure back to the holdings, sectors, and expirations behind it.
Actual app · Sample portfolio

Find where price, time, and volatility sensitivities are concentrated.
Sector & ETF breakdowns
Look across tickers to their underlying sector exposure.
Four-part concentration score
Review sector, correlation, position sizing, and expiration together.
Exposure is a snapshot, not a loss forecast. ETF breakdowns depend on available sector weights.
02 / Position management
Review the position. See what triggered the flag.
Move from a list of holdings to a focused review. Management Checkpoints and Risk Alerts explain what they found and the rule behind it, so you can investigate with the portfolio context in view.
Management Checkpoints
Find positions worth a closer look.
See options nearing expiration, in-the-money short positions, and positions past a profit threshold. Each checkpoint shows the rule that fired, its timing, and position P/L.

Rule-based checkpoints, not recommendations. Rules assess individual options, not complete spreads. Estimated roll credits are theta-based approximations, not executable quotes.
Risk Alerts
Different trades can share the same risk.
See flags for directional exposure, sector and volatility concentration, correlated short positions, margin use, and clustered expirations. Each alert explains the condition behind it.

03 / Risk scenarios & expirations
Explore a change in price or volatility.
Compare estimated portfolio impact across five named scenarios, then explore combinations of market moves and implied volatility in the heatmap.
Separate price impact from volatility impact.
Review a 7 × 5 price and volatility grid.
Use the expiration timeline to see which positions are coming due.
Estimates use current delta and vega with static beta. They do not fully reprice options as Greeks change, and are not a maximum-loss calculation.

Who is ThetaTerminal built for?
Self-directed options traders, particularly premium sellers managing short puts, credit spreads, iron condors, and covered calls. It brings portfolio exposure, position-management prompts, risk scenarios, and trading results together.
Does ThetaTerminal place trades?
No. ThetaTerminal only reads your account data. It has no feature that places, changes, or cancels orders, and it never moves money. Strategy corrections change how your holdings are organized here; they do not change your positions at the broker. You make trading decisions and execute them through your brokerage.
What access does a brokerage connection request?
You authorize the connection with your brokerage or connection provider; we never see your password. Permissions vary: Robinhood (via SnapTrade) is a read-only connection, tastytrade connections made from 25 Sep 2026 use read-only permission, and Schwab's authorization technically includes trading. Whatever the permission, ThetaTerminal only reads your account data and has no feature that places, changes, or cancels orders. Review the permissions shown during authorization before connecting.
Can I see more than one account together?
Yes. The dashboard combines selected accounts from your active connections. Strategy groups stay within their originating account. You can inspect individual legs and correct inferred groups or strategy labels.
How current are the data and estimates?
Refresh timing varies by connection. Check update times and availability notices in the app. Scenario results are approximations, and management checkpoints are rule-based prompts, not recommendations. Confirm current prices and the complete trade at your broker.
How much trade history is available?
Imports request up to four years of history; actual coverage depends on the connection and can be shorter. Backfill takes time. Analytics describe imported closed trades, and incomplete source records or classifications can affect results.
Where do I manage my subscription?
Open Settings, then Manage Subscription to access the billing portal. Founder access is billed monthly at USD 29.99 (US and all other countries), GBP 24.99 (UK) or EUR 27.99 (EU), tax included. The currency depends on the country you check out from, and your rate stays the same while your subscription stays active. Review the billing and cancellation terms at checkout.
